I am from France and I was in Apia for a one week vacation last year. I stayed at Aggie Grey's resort. It has all the comforts and services of a top notch resort and you'll find very good acomodation and also a place filled with ancient Samoan ornaments. Almost any room has an ocean view (or a golf view). I have their e-mail adress, if you want to make a reservation: resort@aggiegreysresort.com. The price for one night is about 90 euros for 2 people (be careful that the local currency in Samoa is the Samoa Dollar - WST, sometimes you may pay in US dollars).
